Keyboard shortcuts

Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate, open search, and keep common overlays within reach.

Press ? outside a text field to open the Keyboard shortcuts overlay. The overlay is context-aware, so it only lists shortcuts registered on the current screen.

Shortcut behavior

Shortcuts are ignored while your cursor is inside a text field, textarea, select, or rich-text editor so typing does not trigger navigation.

The shortcut help overlay is the exception: ? can open the overlay even when other shortcuts would be ignored, depending on the current screen.

Some shortcuts are sequences, such as g then another key. When a sequence is available, the second key must be pressed shortly after the first.

Finding available shortcuts

1. Press ?.
2. Review the grouped shortcuts for the current screen.
3. Press Escape or select the close button to dismiss the overlay.

The overlay groups shortcuts by area, such as navigation or issues, and adapts as you move through the app.

Related shortcuts

Use:

• Cmd+K or Ctrl+K when you want to find work, projects, cycles, or comments.
• Cmd+B or Ctrl+B when you need more horizontal space.
• Cmd+J or Ctrl+J when you want the AI assistant without reaching for the sidebar.
• ? when you are unsure what the current screen supports.
