Sign up, sign in and sessions
You will learn how to create an account, verify your email, sign in, use SSO, handle MFA, and join from an invitation link.
Create an account
Open the sign-up page and choose Create your account.
Enter:
- Full name.
- Email.
- Password.
Tixio shows a live Password requirements checklist. You can use either a 12-character passphrase or a shorter complex password that satisfies the listed requirements.
Select Create account. Tixio sends a verification email.
Verify your email
Open the verification link from the email on the same device if possible. After verification, sign in with the account you created.
If you used the wrong email address, return to the signup confirmation screen and choose Start over.
Sign in with email and password
On the sign-in page, enter your email and password, then select Sign in.
Use Forgot password? if you need a reset link. After a successful password reset, Tixio asks you to sign in with the new password.
Sign in with Google
If Continue with Google appears, select it and complete the Google sign-in flow. After Google returns you to Tixio, choose the workspace you want to open.
Google sign-in users cannot set a local Tixio password or email/password MFA from the Account security page. Use your Google account controls for those security settings.
Sign in with workspace SSO
If your organization uses SSO, use the SSO area on the sign-in page.
Enter the workspace UUID from the app path, for example the value after /w/ in
a workspace URL, then choose Continue with SSO. Your identity provider
handles the login and returns you to Tixio.
Use your identity provider for SSO password recovery, SSO MFA, and account recovery unless your admin tells you otherwise.
Complete MFA during sign-in
If MFA is enabled for your email/password account, Tixio shows Two-factor authentication after your password is accepted.
Enter either:
- The current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
- A recovery code.
Use recovery codes only when you cannot access the authenticator device. Each recovery code works once.
Join from an invitation
Open the invitation link from the email. Tixio checks what your account needs and sends you to the right screen:
- Create account if you are new to Tixio.
- Sign in if your account exists.
- Confirm email if your account needs verification.
After authentication, Tixio returns you to the invitation. If you are already signed in, the invitation opens through the workspace picker so you can review and accept it.
If you see an invalid-credentials hint during an invite flow, check whether you need to create an account or verify your email before signing in.
Choose a workspace
After sign-in, Tixio opens the workspace picker unless you have chosen to open your last workspace immediately.
From the picker you can:
- Open an existing workspace.
- Review pending invitations.
- Create a new workspace when allowed.
- Enable Open last workspace immediately (skip this screen).
- Log out and use a different account.
Stay signed in safely
Tixio keeps your session active through normal app refreshes. If a newer frontend version is available, Tixio may prompt you to refresh.
Log out when you use a shared device or need to switch accounts. If you are unexpectedly sent back to sign-in, sign in again and reopen the workspace or invitation you were using.
Troubleshooting
If you do not receive the verification email, check spam or junk mail and confirm you typed the email address correctly.
If an invitation says it is unavailable, it may be invalid, expired, already accepted, or cancelled by an admin.
If SSO fails, confirm you entered the workspace UUID from the Tixio URL and that your admin has configured SSO for that workspace.
